Keto Green Beans and Crispy Bacon

These green beans make the perfect low carb side dish. Now there will be at least one thing low carb on the Thanksgiving table we can eat besides the turkey!

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Fresh green beans
  • 1 Pound Thick cut bacon, diced
  • 2 tablespoon Reserved bacon grease
  • 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce (or coconut aminos)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet with a lid, cook the diced bacon until crisp. Remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  • Remove all but 2 tablespoons of bacon grease from the skillet.
  • Add the green beans and the soy sauce to the skillet. Keeo the heat on medium-high and toss the green beans around for a minute or 2 to give the some brown color. Reduce the heat to medium and cover with the lid. Let the green beans cook for about 8 minutes or until the are done to your liking (stirring occassionally).
  • Right before serving, stir in the garlic and top with the cooked bacon.
  • Serve.
