Ingredients

  • ½ pound bacon, chopped
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and any strings removed or 2, 15 ounce cans, drained
  • 2 tablespoons reserved bacon grease
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce or Tamari
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Sweetener

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the diced bacon until crispy, about 8 minutes. Once cooked through, remove from skillet using a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel lined plate. Set aside.
    ½ pound bacon, chopped

  • Turn the heat to medium-high and toss the green beans around for a couple of minutes in the skillet or until they start to blister. Reduce heat to low and add in the garlic, soy sauce and brown sugar sweetener. Cover with the lid and let the green beans cook for about 8 minutes (omit this step if using canned.)
