- ¼ Cup chili garlic sauce or sweet chili sauce
- 3 Tablespoons honey (use honey substitute for keto)
- 2 ½ Tablespoons lime juice
- 2 Tablespoons Soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 Tablespoon Sriracha
- 1 Tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 ½ Pounds Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
In a medium size mixing bowl, whisk together the lime juice, chili garlic sauce, sriracha, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic and ground ginger. Stir to combine ingredients. Set sauce aside.
Heat a large non-stick pan over medium high heat. Add the shrimp the the skillet and cook for a few minutes on each side. You don't want to cook them all of the way through.
Stir in the firecracker sauce and toss to coat the shrimp. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce is thickened and shrimp is cooked through. Garnish with cilantro, scallions, or green onions.
Serving suggestions
- Use Spring roll wrappers or egg roll wrappers to make a spicy shrimp spring roll or egg roll.
- Use in shrimp tacos
- Serve with a side of rice and steamed veggies.
