Ingredients

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  • Transfer the chocolate mixture into a freezer safe storage container with a lid, or a loaf pan and cover with Saran Wrap. Freeze for 1-2 hours.
  • Remove container from the freezer and stir the already frozen edges into the soft center. Cover again and place back into the freezer and let freeze for about 3 hours or until frozen. Remove from the freezer and serve. You may need to let it set out for about 10-15 minutes to soften.

Notes

  • I calculated the nutrition based on Aldi whole milk plain greek yogurt.
  • What kind of yogurt is best for frozen yogurt?
Whole milk yogurt is going to give you the best consistency and creaminess when it comes to frozen yogurt.  When it comes to the least amount of sugar, you're going to want to use Greek yogurt as it has a lot of the whey strained out and that's where a lot of the carbs can be found.  You could also use plain Icelandic skyr.  For a less tangy flavor, use a skyr.
