For easier cutting of the spaghetti squash: Using a sharp knife Poke 2 holes on one side of the spaghetti squash. Place the squash on a microwave safe plate and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Carefully remove the squash from the microwave and set aside to cool for 10 minutes, or until cool enough to handle.
On a cutting board, cut the stem end off of the spaghetti squash. Now cut the squash in half lengthwise. Use a spoon to scrape the spaghetti squash seeds from the inside of the squash and discard.
Use a basting brush to coat the flesh of each spaghetti squash half with the oil, then season evenly with the seasonings.
Place the spaghetti squash halves inside of the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of the squash, they may not both be able to lay flat. You can see in the photo that I had one of them slightly tilted so they both would fit. Halfway through the cooking process, they will be able to collapse a bit in order to lay flat. If your air fryer basket is not large enough for both halves, you can cook each half one at a time.
Cook in the air fryer at 400F for 30-40 minutes. Halfway through the cooking process, use tongs to carefully adjust the squash if necessary so they are laying flat. The cook time will depend on the size of the squash halves. Continue to cook until a fork easily pierces all of the way through the flesh in multiple spots.
When fork tender, use a fork to scrape the flesh to reveal long strands of spaghetti noodles.
