Air Fryer Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs

These air fryer boneless skinless chicken thighs come out juicy every time with a simple seasoning and cook in about 20 minutes. This is one of those easy, high protein dinners I make on repeat during the week.

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400F.
  • Add chicken thighs to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with seasonings. Toss to coat.
  • Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Cook until internal temperature reaches at least 165F (I prefer 175–185F for best texture).
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Try to use chicken thighs that are similar in size so they cook evenly
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket or they won’t brown as well
  • Flip halfway through cooking for the best texture
  • Use a meat thermometer and cook to at least 165F
  • For more tender chicken, I usually cook mine closer to 175–185F
  • If your chicken thighs are smaller, start checking closer to 18–20 minutes
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving so the juices settle
