When you have 2 avocados sitting in your fridge and they are perfectly ripe and you know that they will be over-ripe if you don’t use them this very minutes…you make Avocado Cilantro Lime Dressing.

This dressing has the perfect amount of zip, zing, pow, and wow.  It lights up my tastebuds and I want to put it on all of my salads for the rest of my life.

Now lets get one thing straight.  I love cilantro.  I could just eat the leaves by themselves because I love it so much.  Now I know that some people hate cilantro as much as I love it…and for those people, you might want to go to the next recipe.  Peace out cilantro hating friends.  Until next time.



This is easily adaptable as a spread or a dip.  Just cut back on the water a bit to make it a little thicker.  I can see this on eggs, burgers, grilled chicken…OMG my mouth is watering because I want to put this on ALL THE THINGS.

What I love about this dressing is you just dump all of the ingredients into a food processor and blend away.  No drizzling a drop of oil at a time until you have the right consistency.  Ain’t nobody got time for that!

Avocado Cilantro Lime Dressing

This super easy avocado cilantro lime dressing takes less than 5 minutes in your food processor or blender.  You will want to put it on all the things!

Servings: 8
  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and seeds removed
  • 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup Mexican crema or sour cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp ground coriander
  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.
