    Easy Steak in the Air Fryer

    Like to keep things simple in the kitchen? Me too! This easy air fryer steak recipe is perfectly cooked every time! I give all of the tips you need to know.  Serve with a side of keto coleslaw for a complete meal.

    You're not going to miss the grill with this easy steak in the air fryer.  It is incredibly delicious and easy!

    Here are my top tips to ensure you get the best results every time:

    • Make sure your steak is at least 1 inch thick and 1.5 pounds so it browns nicely before the inside overcooks.
    • Brushing with oil helps to form a crust.  Don't skip this step!
    • You can use the suggested seasoning or you can use whatever you like.
    • Use a meat thermometer for accuracy

    That's all there is to it!

    You can use sirloin, t-bone, ribeye, or New York strip.  The size of the steak is what's important if you want it to get a brown crust.

    Ingredients

    • 1 ½ Pound Top Sirloin Steak
    • 1 Tablespoon avocado oil (Click here for my favorite brand on Amazon)
    • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
    • pepper to taste

    Equipment

    • Air Fryer (Here's the air fryer I like best on Amazon)

    Instructions

    • Pre-heat air fryer to 400F for 5 minutes. Lay steak on a cutting board and begin with brushing ½ tablespoon of avocado oil on one side of steak. Season with ½ teaspoon kosher salt and ¼ teaspoon garlic powder. Flip and repeat on the other side of the steak.
    • Cook in already preheated air fryer for 10 minutes on each side for rare steak. For a rare steak internal temp is 130F, medium rare = 135F, medium = 140F, medium well = 150F, well done = 160F
