That was until I came across the brand Bolthouse and I fell in love with their Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing. I use these dressings on my salads everyday and as a dip for veggies.
I like those store bought low calorie salad dressings, but I wanted to make it myself. That's when I came up with my Lightened up blue cheese dressing that is in my Live Life Keto Cookbook. 7 ounces plain fat free greek yogurt - This is the bulk of our homemade Greek Yogurt ranch dressing and makes it super creamy. I love using creamy Greek Yogurt for so many recipes!
⅓ cup half and half - This is an American product that is ½ milk and ½ cream and it helps thin out the Greek Yogurt, but keep our dressing creamy.
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar - I like a balanced dressing so we need some acid to give us that zip that ranch dressing is so known for.
Now all of the herbs and seasonings that we need to make our Greek Yogurt ranch dressing:
1 tablespoon dried parlsey or 3 tablespoons fresh chopped
1 teaspoon dried dill or 1 tablespoon fresh chopped
1 teaspoon dried chives or 1 tablespoon fresh chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 ½ teaspoon kosher salt
