    Keto Chaffles - 4 Flavors!

I Give 4 variations of the super popular keto chaffle recipe! Some sweet, some savory. Use them as hamburger buns, for a sandwich, or drench them in sugar free syrup. Choose from Jalapeno, everything, chocolate chip, and classic.

4 stacks of sweet and savory keto chaffles

There is nothing mysterious or complicated about chaffles.  They are delicious when you add flavorings and when you don't!  I love t use them as bread for a sandwich or hamburger buns.

I love that chaffles will work when I am feeling like something sweet or savory.

Let's talk about the basic chaffle and how it is so versatile!

The basic chaffle is just 1 egg and ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese mixed together.

The trick to making them perfect is to use a Mini Dash Waffle maker.  Then they are the perfect size for bread!

You can find the Mini Dash Waffle maker on Amazon or it's only $10 at Target!

So back to the basic chaffle.  I like to us it in so many ways:

    • As a mini pizza crust.  Make a basic chaffle and then top with your favorite pizza toppings.  Pop in the oven until the toppings are nice and bubbly.
    • As the bun for a cheeseburger
    • As the bread for a sandwich
    • As the base for avocado toast
    • Schmear with cream cheese like a bagel
    • peanut butter and jelly using my keto jam recipe
    • Cut it up into strips and dip in syrup like French toast sticks

    4 batters of chaffle

You are going to love all of the variations I have below in the recipe card.  let me know which one is your favorite?

How do I get my whimpy chaffles to crisp up a bit? I tried 5 minutes instead of three? Still whimpy.

      Hi Jennifer
how do I stop my chaffels from sticking to my waffle maker. I really like them but have had to stop making them as I get too disappointed when they stick. Any advice would be great

If you put a little bit of shredded cheese on the waffle iron for 30 seconds before adding your Chaffee mixture, then put a little shredded cheese on top of the mixture. Close it up and cook 3 to 5 minutes. It will usually come right out. The shredded cheese crisps up and let’s it release easier. Works for me.
