Ground turkey can be delicious if you use the right kind and add lots of flavorful seasonings like I did in this Keto Turkey Meatloaf. This is my husbands new favorite meatloaf recipe! You can also use ground beef for this keto meatloaf!
Calling all meatloaf lovers! Sometimes you just want turkey meatloaf and this recipe does not disappoint. It really is my husbands new favorite and it has been requested many time. Let me show you how to make a juicy and flavorful keto turkey meatloaf!
WHICH GROUND TURKEY SHOULD I USE?
To make the most flavorful and moist turkey meatloaf, you need to use a ground turkey that is 85% lean and 15% fat. This makes the meatloaf so much better than using 99% fat free ground turkey!
PORK RINDS OR ALMOND FLOUR FOR BINDING
I like to use almond flour in my keto meatloaf recipes as a breadcrumb substitute, but you can use ground pork rinds as a 1 for 1 replacement.
CAN I USE A LOAF PAN
I do not recommend a loaf pan for meatloaf because it will just become a brick and it takes longer to cook.
I prefer to form my meatloaf into a loaf shape on a sheet pan. Use your hands to form it into a tight loaf shape.
WHERE CAN I FIND SUGAR FREE KETCHUP?
I like to use any store bought sugar free ketchup that I can find but I know that some are not happy with the ingredients. You can make your own sugar free ketchup...a simple google search will find a good recipe.

Best meatloaf I’ve mad so far. So much flavor. The only change I made was using ground pork rinds in place of the flour. Other then that, it was perfect

I mixed one pound of ground turkey and 1 pound of chicken sausage. The flavor was definitely amped to another level. I skipped the ketchup and used Rao Spaghetti sauce.

This is my second time making this recipe and it is absolutely perfect. My girls love it and so does my husband! Good job!

So when do I use the sugar substitue
Patti says
Another option instead of ketchup as I put sugar-free barbecue sauce on top and I add a little bit into the mixture while I make it it is so good!

This is genius. I never liked using a loaf pan because the sides would taste dry and slightly burnt/crispy. Thanks for the recipe can’t wait to try this!

Thank you for a keto friendly meatloaf for those days when I crave comfort food. I have made this several times with some modifications. I am not a fan of ground turkey so I did sub 90% lean ground beef and used ground pork rinds for the almond flour. This is the perfect recipe. Love how you saute the onions first. I hate how raw onions don't seem to soften enough in regular meatloaf. This is the only way I can get my kids to eat onion. I did add some ingredients to the sauce so it is more like "nana's meatloaf" the kids love. So I added 2 tsp of mustard and 2 tbsp of brown sugar substitute. Sometimes I will add shredded cheese to the mix and other times I use sugar free BBQ instead of ketchup for variety. I always use a big enough sheet-pan so I can roast any veggie of choice the last 20 minutes of cook time which = less clean up :).

This tasted just like traditional meatloaf! It was excellent! The leftovers will be used in meatloaf sandwiches on keto bread. Yum….

This was delicious! Made it tonight - half the recipe and cooked it faster at 400 to get it done for a hungry family. Served it with cheesy broccoli and cauliflower. It’s a keeper!

This receipe is so good, we wanted left overs but there wasn 't any left!

I have an air fryer that is like a mini oven, what temperature and for how long would you suggest cooking a meatloaf for?
Lisa says
Like my beef meatloaf, I don't cook the onions first...I just put them in raw and somehow it just turns out so great, like in this recipe! FYI if your loaf was dry, you baked it too long! Turkey cooks fast...check it at least 10 min. before finish time! Cheers!

I made this tonight and it was DELICIOUS! Thank you so much for the recipe!
Shari says
Does the parsley go in the meatloaf, or just on top?
jenniferbanz says
It goes in the meatloaf. I edited the recipe...thank you for bringing it to my attention!

I made this meatloaf for the first time tonight with ground beef 80/20. It was dry. I did not put the chicken broth in it since I used ground beef.
Any recommendations for the next time I make it? Thanks
