With only 4 ingredients you can whip up a batch of decadent keto fudge! Super easy to make, this fudge recipe with it's rich chocolate and crunchy walnuts will have you second guessing that this treat is sugar free!

    keto fudge on parchment paper

The best way to describe the taste of this keto fudge is heaven.  The next time you are in the mood for chocolate, make a batch of this fudge and then you have 2 weeks worth of decadent chocolate heaven in your freezer. Only 3 net carbs per piece!

Keto chocolate fudge is one of my favorite easy treats because it only requires 4 ingredients that I usually have on hand. It is also perfect to take to gatherings. You may also want to checkout my keto peanut butter fudge recipe!

    Ingredients needed

This section explains how to choose the best ingredients for this easy keto fudge recipe, what each one does in the recipe, and substitution options. For a printable recipe, see the recipe card below.

    ½ cup butter

9 ounces sugar free chocolate chips

½ cup powdered sugar substitute - I like to use Lakanto powdered sweetener. It is a 1 for 1 substitute for sugar that is a blend of monk fruit and erythritol. You can also use confectioners Swerve.

    ¼ cup heavy cream

¾ cup chopped walnuts, divided (Optional) - you could also use pecans, sliced almonds, chopped macadamia nuts, or cashews as add-ins.

How to make the best keto fudge

This section explains how to make this low carb fudge, step by step. For a full printable recipe, see the recipe card below.

Line the inside of an 8x4 loaf pan with parchment paper. leave edges long enough to pull fudge out once set. Spray inside lightly with cooking spray and set aside.

In a small sauce pan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate chips together. Stir continuously until all melted.

ingredients for fudge in a saucepan

Once melted through, add your heavy cream and sweetener. Continue to stir to make sure there are no lumps. Stir in ½ cup chopped walnuts.

Pour keto fudge mixture inside already prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle remaining chopped walnuts as topping over your fudge.  You can also sprinkle some coarse sea salt.

unset keto fudge in a loaf pan

Chill in refrigerator until fudge is set. Should take about 1 to 2 hours. Slice into 12 equal portions and serve. Keep stored in the fridge in an airtight container. You can also freeze this keto fudge for up to 2 months.

This is such a simple recipe and tastes fabulous. I’ve made this several times now and sprinkled sea salt on the top which just adds to this amazing fudge.

I've made this several times, I think it's the best recipe I've found for "real" fudge.

This is a very simple recipe. I add a teaspoon of vanilla or other flavoring. Since the recipe calls for cutting it in smaller pieces so I can eat several pieces. I store it in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator.

Oh my goodness! Just made this with Lily’s dark chocolate chips and black walnuts. Best bite I’ve had in months....and I just scraped some out of the pot after freezing the recipe....about a teaspoon full. And yes, I wanted to eat the whole pan full - but refrained. 😊 I highly recommend this recipe. I bet it would be scrumptious with a bit of orange zest and pistachios!

Can you correct the link for the sugar free sweetener you use for this recipe? Curious as I'm just going keto/low carb. Thanks!
