Making your own keto ice cream is as easy as 1 2 3.  All you need is a mason jar, heavy cream, and sweetener!  This keto mason jar ice cream will be fun for the whole family.

keto ice cream in a ramekin

So creamy and delicious, you can make any flavor of this ice cream you want!  I have strawberry and chocolate featured here because they are my favorite!

The trick to super creamy ice cream is heavy cream, of course.  It is super rich and filling!  The perfect dessert for dinner option.

For strawberry we add in ground up freeze dried strawberries.

For chocolate we add in cocoa powder.

For vanilla we would add just vanilla extract.

You could also mix in chopped nuts or brownie pieces!  Make them keto brownies, of course.

The chocolate ice cream was amazing. Is the nutritional facts preserving or for all?

Just a suggestion but you can use an immersion blender and it will whip the cream in an instant. It will fit inside a quart jar…mine did. I added espresso powder to the chocolate to kick it up a notch.

Hi Jennifer. I've made this chocolate recipe 3 times. First time I put too much cocoa powder in it. Second time I couldn't shake the jar for 5 minutes. Third time is the charm! I have fibromyalgia and MS so shaking the jar caused problems for me. This time I used a mixer for 5 minutes. I tried some it tastes absolutely scrumpdileicious! I'm very happy I found you. I've lost 35 pounds in 7 weeks! Many recipes from you!
Peace and blessings to you and yours.

I've made both the strawberry and the chocolate. Both were very good...and I don't like strawberry ice cream. Only problem is they freeze solid if left too long in the freezer but just let it thaw for a bit and it's gtg!!

Must it be a mason jar? Can I use any glass jar with a tight fitting lid or a tightly closed plastic container or even a heavy duty zip lock bag?

I haven't tried it but you would probably have to use coconut cream. I think coconut milk is too thin.
